I hosted the TechCrunch Party at my office two days ago. It was a perfect night for the event and our patio proved the perfect venue. There were a bunch of interesting folks on hand for the party. And, despite the commentary from a number of uninformed folks, the TechCrunch Party was hardly the harbinger of Bubble 2.0. It was a sign that entrepreneurship is alive and well and happy to get together and schmooz.
I got this email this morning:

Can you inform us who is in charge of purchasing your safety apparel ? Gloves, Eye protection, High visibility clothing,uniforms ect, we would like the opportunity to do business with your company.

I'm not sure precisely who is in charge of safety apparel at August Capital, but I'm pretty sure that we should buy some.
Our holiday lunch was at Marche in Menlo Park. Their "$50,000 Cheesecake" was the best I've ever tasted.
I'm pleased to report that the "G" was not taken, merely knocked off of the wall. Thankfully, everything was set straight this afternoon when the "G" was reattached.
